01
Intent and facade brief
The client's brief was one line: make it look like it deserves the corner. The existing concrete frame was sound, so the renovation replaced the skin — shutters out, a glazed corner storefront in, with the structure untouched.
02
System and climate response
We handled the design in-house because the client had no architect: three storefront options priced in a single proposal, with the chosen scheme drawn for permit within two weeks.
03
Fabrication and coordination
Components were sized so the local builder's small crew could manhandle every piece — no crane on a narrow street. The whole envelope went up in nine working days.
04
Installation and handover
The after-photo now anchors the client's own social media, and the shop reports a step-change in passing trade. Renovation work earns its keep fastest exactly here.
